The Alzheimer's Association of CT. held its annual walk in Enfield at Asnetuck Community College. Despite a foggy morning, a large tounout was not deterred from supporting the event. Each walker, upon registering, was given a flower indicating the purpose for the individual walker's participation. Those holding a blue flower have Alzheimer's or dementia; those holding a yellow flower support or care for someone with Alzheimer's; those holding a purple flower have lost someone with Alzheimer's; and those holding an orange flower support the cause and vision of a world without Alzheimer's.
